impressions turned to reflections

First grading period is the first obstacle for a 4th year high school student like me. Under the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) class of Mrs. Evelyn Vera Cruz in Ilocos Sur National High School (ISNHS), dreams are built. Mistakes are committed but they were overcome by our eagerness to learn and to gain knowledge.
This time is full of fun and enjoyment in terms of discoveries and learning. Problems and different kinds of challenges did occurred and still I will move on. How did I conquered all of these? I'll cite my impressions turned out to reflections.
To grasp knowledge has its other side. Every learning and discoveries have twin problems and challenges. Let me start to brainstorm my mind with the positive side, what I have learned and discovered.
Before going to something, we must know its origin and where, how, and when did it began for short its history. We use internet and deal with it every click to the web. The basic learning of it is on how to use it but before that we learned its history. For the discoveries, I discovered the thing "blog" from the term web plus log. With the help of our dear teacher, we generated our own account.
The challenge to maintain it active and effective to be able to express our ideas and widen communication to others. The best thing for that is it enhances my writing skills. It's normal and natural to encounter problems. Of course, I tried to meet the problems of not posting my blog posts quickly especially whenever I am in computer room. It is because of the low speed internet connection. That takes a long time for me.
For every impressions I have sometimes, that is the basis of my performance. My first impressions were turned out to reflections. All positive comments this grading period to my teacher, subject and my classmates. Before the start of the classes my mind was full of questions. Now it is answered. That time in learning during subject ICT is cool.
Moving on, I will do my best to improve my performance in class. I will keep my eyes of focus for the room of betterment. I admit I am not a computer-literate and hoping that after a school year dealing with the learning and discoveries will make me whole. The challenges and problems I passed by may disappoint me but shall make me stronger.

Statement for P-NOY's SONA 2012

Last July 23,2012, President Benigno S. Aquino III delivered his third State Of the Nation Address(SONA). Again, promises for the betterment of our country and his yearly reports straight from Malacanang Palace.
His priorities are concerned to education, conservation for the environment, increase of the employment rate, benefits for Filipino citizens, and renewal of projects formerly launched.
to be more specific, the following are some of the highlights of the said SONA:
-1.5 million hectares of trees to be planted in 2016
-old-aged and disabled pensioners will receive 5,000 pesos per month
-protection of sovereignty and territorial authority
-DOST/PAGASA Project NOAH improved
-the Philippines is expected to export rice in 2013
-1,520 sitios have been provided with electricity within 90 days
-target of 4.16 million tourists for 2012
-responsible parenthood bill
-more than 30,000 nurses deployed to 36,000 barangays
-free education to 4.57 million students
-taxes on cigarettes and liquors
-3.1 million jobs were created
-executive order in mining cited
As a student, I was delighted for the plan of our president for every Filipino student with his or her own book and chair. Also, I was convinced that the crime rate in our country was lessen. The Filipino citizens were given jobs. The rice shortage is expected to be washed away.
This is now the third time he made a promise. Some maybe were implemented and being a benefit for majority of us. While some are still future projects and I am waiting to be pursued. The Filipinos listened to him and are expecting for a change in our present administration.
The journey for the "daang matuwid" is still on its process. A continuous travel for the progress and as he said "forgive and forget" for the past administrations. "kayo ang boss ko" will always be remembered but what are his projects to be recognized? It is up for us to discover...
